The Blacklight doesn't stop Alex Mercer in Prototype (2009) nor does it stop James Heller inPrototype 2 (2012). Activision reveals the numerous abilities that can be exerted in the game, which definitely gives much room for exciting gameplay.

The franchise started in 1999, and thus began Tony Hawk's endless licensed video game titles distributed by Activision. He is considered one of the most successful and influential pioneers of modern vertical skateboarding.

We've finally arrived at #1. Now, this next and final franchise in the countdown is one that has been around for almost a decade, yet brings about excitement from a mass majority. It is well-respected and has grown significantly, and I, personally, love that it gets better and better with each new installment.

#1: "Call of Duty" series

We all know the popular first and third-person shooter game series franchise, "Call of Duty." It was first released on October 29, 2003. The original series consisted of Call of Duty (2003), Call of Duty 2 (2005), Call of Duty 3 (2006) and Call of Duty: World at War. The "Modern Warfare" series kicked off in 2007, with the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in 2011. The "Black Ops" series followed, starting in 2010. Call of Duty: Black Ops earned $1 billion in sales after just six weeks of being released and it was confirmed on August 2011 that the game had sold over 23 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling game of all time in the U.S., UK and Europe.

The upcoming sequel for Black Ops, Black Ops II, is set to be released on November 13 of this year.

That being said, the countdown for the biggest gaming conference of the year is already in effect and Call of Duty: Black Ops II is one of the main games that we're expected to hear a lot more about during E3. A lengthy gameplay clip of what fans can expect from the upcoming game is shown in an E3 Reveal Uncut below.
