Arkham City Returns with Triforce Statues

If you bought the collector's edition of Arkham Asylum, you got gypped. Promising a batarang replica, it turned out to be a plastic batarang firmly attached to its base and making our dreams of slinging it around until it broke a window just that--a dream. But thanks to Project Triforce, our dreams have become reality!

The folks behind some of the finer Mass Effect 3 and Gears of War replicas bring us Arkham City themed goods that are avaliable later this year. The batarang and Riddler Trophy look incredible and have added LED functions, so you can make it the most questionable nightlight you'd ever spend money on.

From the press release:

"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady have taken one of the most beloved characters from the universe of DC Comics and given him the proper respect he deserves.  We will do the same with the products we are planning to create in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products," said Drew Seldin from Triforce.  "Our goal is to explore these incredible rich universes and develop replicas worthy of the characters and their richhistories."

The batarang will have a limited run of 750 units at $750.00 and is currently up for pre-order; in a nod to Arkham City, the Riddler Trophies are limited to 440 and will cost you $350.00.

The prices are definitely for the rabid fan, but the batarang is detachable. So really, the total price for that comes out to a few thousand dollars depending on how many windows you break in your home, but it'd be so worth it.
