Far Cry is known for being completely off the wall out of control but with a new poll that was given to Far Cry 4 players, it seems that Ubisoft isn't done taking the franchise to the limit of crazy. According to some of the questions, Far Cry is looking to venture into the weird.
Powers Is Coming To PlayStation Network In New Live Action Program This March
Eurogamer reported that Ubisoft polled its players to find out what locations and situations they were interested in playing in the next game. The last two games have taken us to tropical and beautiful places around the world and also filled with crazy people. In some scenarios, Ubisoft wants to recreate that experience.
But with the added ingredient of dinosaurs. Far Cry 5: Dinosaur Hunter. I can dig it.
That wasn't the only possible new setting for the series. There were also locations that included the Vietnam War, Far Cry 5: Deer Hunter (that's a movie reference kids. It's a classic. Check it out) and a 19 century western, Far Cry 5: Blazing Saddles.
This wouldn't be the first time that fans of the series has seen Ubisoft take some risks. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was an acid trip, wrapped in the 80s and stuffed with LSD.
Ubisoft has also polled its fans before to see what they wanted next. They did the same for the Assassin Creed games and it turns out that the polls were pretty spot on. So they're listening. This was the chance to make Far Cry 5: The Masquerade happen.
For those of us not polled, we'll just have to wait and see what sort of choices our peers made.
