New Nintendo 3DS XL U.S. Release Date Announced
The show, cancelled on what had been its home station of NBC, was given new life through Yahoo in a deal announced last year. The company struck a deal with Sony to create and air the new season on its online digital service, Yahoo Screen. Two episodes will be released on launch day, with one new episode airing every week after that.
A video featuring the cast announces the date in round-about fashion, with the actors doing everything but directly giving you the details. Some less-than-subliminal messaging helps get the info across--you can watch for yourself below.

A panel with the cast at the Television Critics Association press tour provide additional details about plans for the season. As reported by TV.com, series creator Dan Harmon said that he's not writing the show as if it's the last season, and doesn't know what the future holds beyond Season 6. He also explained that he's a fan of the weekly release schedule, and never considered a Netflix-style all-at-once season release.
Donald Glover, who departed last season, is not returning to the show, nor are Chevy Chase or Yvette Nicole Brown. Chase left the show before last season, and Brown chose to turn her attention to personal family issues. Newcomers Paget Brewster and Keith David will come in to fill the ranks, hopefully finding their own, undoubtedly strange niches quickly.
