Physical Wii games are compatible on the Wii U, but Nintendo today announced that titles from the previous console will now be downloadable through the eShop on Wii U.
The feature launches today with Super Mario Galaxy 2, a great way to start off the collection. Wii U who didn't own a Wii, or never got a chance to player certain games, will eventually have a library of options to choose from. Metroid Prime Trilogy, for example, is launching January 29, while Punch-Out!! will be available January 22.
