Pix the Cat, the more than slightly addictive retro inspired game, is coming to the PC. You're on the internet, we already know you like cats, so here's a new one to fall in love with. The game will be making a leap from consoles at the end of January.
New Game From Thomas Was Alone Creator Gets Trailer
Pix originally came out for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita systems from Pastagames. Players who signed up for PlayStation Plus had a chance to snag the game for free and fall into its addictive trap.
It's a very retro game, sort of a cross between Snake and Pac-Man. You play Pix, who for some odd reason has left his cushion to help guide groups of newly hatched ducklings to safety. As you play, you rack up combos and points, but don't run across your duckling trail or it's game over man, game over.
Lanterns: The Harvest Festival Is All About That Honor
Each level is nestled inside the level before it, like an 8-bit Inception. As you progress, the game moves faster, making every turn a split second decision. Make the wrong choice and you'll bash into a wall or worse, some ducklings.
The game features a variety of gameplay styles and both a single and multiplayer mode. If you choose Arena mode, you'll be able to play a local multiplayer game with up to three friends. The goal is of course to get the high score.
Nothing fancy. Save Ducks, get points, move to the next level. Simple. Fun. Addictive.
The game will available for PC via Steam at the end of the month.
