Square Enix has released several new DLC tracks from across their many RPG series for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, the 3DS music-match battler.
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire And Omega Ruby Soundtrack Available Now
Each track is priced at $0.99 and available now via the in-game store. The six tracks bring to the total playlist to well over 230 songs, which is probably not that many in the long history of Square Enix compositions.
Only one Field Music sequence has been added, In Search of the Sword of Mana, from the 1991 (and 1998 re-release) GBA title Final Fantasy Advenutre, later remade in 2003 as 'Sword of Mana'.
Hey Mister, Wanna Buy My Wazer Wifle? Yeah, You Really Do
The five other tracks are Battle Music compositions and are as follows: "Opening - Bombing Mission -" (Final Fantasy VII); "Primal Judgment" (Final Fantasy XIV); "Soaring" (Xenogears) ; "Last Battle -T260G-" (SaGa Frontier) and "Sacrifice Part Three" (Seiken Densetsu 3, the Japanese only sequel to The Secret of Mana).
Nor is this the only DLC that will be arriving this January. Another round of add-on tracks will be arriving for the 3DS title on January 22.
Short of attending a full on Square Enix concert, Curtain Call may be your best bet to hear all of the music from nearly all of the company's adventures. What games may have lacked in graphical capability back in the 80s and 90s, they more than made up for with epic and iconic themes. And nobody did it better than Square.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is available exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS for $39.99. You can find it via the official Nintendo eShop page, or pick it up in stores anywhere.
