Miss playing board games? Love puzzles and word games? Own a Barnes and Noble Nook? Then you might want to consider downloading NOOK's most popular and seemingly addictive App., Word Winder.
Word games like Words with Friends and Scrabble have gotten a lot of attention, but a new game called, Word Winder was launched just last month and has already received a lot of buzz. Created by David L. Hoyt, Word Winder is a game of strategy where the player create a continuous winding line of words stretching from one side to the other or from the bottom to the top, or vice-versa, in a continuous creation of (literally) winding letters and words. The game comes in the format of a board games, books, on-line games, and apps.
Ansca Mobile, creator of the cross-platform Corona SDK, announced the success of Word Winder being the #1 Board Game on NOOK Apps.
In a PR Web press release, Hoyt said: "Thanks to Corona's simplicity and ease of use, we were able to bridge the gap between a physical board game and the digital world, allowing more people to enjoy Word Winder in the mobile space."
Word Winder is available for NOOK devices, for just $1.99.
