The last time we heard about Spider-Woman she was making a splash with her Milo Manara variant cover. The cover caused a ton of controversy due its hyper sexualized nature (is that butt? Or a peach? Or something else?) Now she's back with a brand new look for the first time in almost four decades.

Spider-Woman is getting a new look designed by Kris Anka for the Spider-Man Unlimited mobile game. Her classic duds are red and yellow skin tight allover spandex. The new outfit drops most of the yellow and is bit more modern as shared by USA Today.
Spider-Woman is an ongoing series that first debuted in 1977. The series has gone through a variety of changes over time and the character has had a few different women fill the roles, as well as appeared in other books.

The new costume is very different than the original, featuring a sort of jacket and pants look, very comfortable, modern, and functional.
The new look will premiere in Spider-Woman #5 along with a new story arc. Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman will be shifting her focus away from global peace keeping and focusing on day to day citizens. This is a departure from how we've seen her recently, she'll be more of a private eye.
As explained by Editor Nick Lowe, "Spider-Man isn't really a detective - he swings around looking for trouble, whereas Jess needs to go and figure stuff out and dig things up, and you can't really do that head to toe in spandex very well."
Spider-Woman's new look can be seen in Spider-Man Unlimited or in issue #5 of her series Spider-Woman.
