Microsoft's highly anticipated first-person shooter Halo 4 is looking to give Black Ops 2 a run for its money The next Xbox 720 plans to come with an enhanced hard drive, processor and expanded RAM. It would be an attractive choice for developers at 343 Studios to release Halo 4 for the new console.  It will surely add hype as Halo is among the most popular titles for Xbox.

Speculations are on that Halo 4 could be the first launch title for Microsoft's next-generation console, Xbox 720.

"With E3 just around the corner, it's quite possible that Microsoft will reveal its upcoming console. And since the first Halo was the primary launch title with the original Xbox, it makes sense to speculate that the latest Halo will launch alongside the Xbox 720," reports Forbes.

Halo 4 will come with technological advancements and graphics which may be difficult for the Xbox 360 to support the changes. Thus, the possibility of the game coming for the next console is likely as it will be upgraded to handle new software.

"The advancements in the Halo 4 game will make it necessary for the company to offer a better hardware to facilitate the game experience of Halo fans. The reported Xbox 720 will likely be able to handle the software upgrades that are expected to be integrated into the upcoming game," writes Planet Insane.

Halo 4 is the eighth installment in the Halo franchise. The game is the first of a new trilogy of Halo series games, "Reclaimer Trilogy". The game is a continuation of Halo 3 where Master Chief returns as the main protagonist and we also see the appearance of Cortana.

Halo 4 game is set for a worldwide release on November 6, 2012.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is set to be released on October 23 in the US and in the UK on October 26.
