An impressive content update for Call of Duty: Advance Warfare is now live for Xbox 360 players. PS3 and PC players shouldn't have to wait much longer to get the same patch, either.
Mortal Kombat Devs Reveal Their Free-To-Play WWE Game Set For A 2015 Launch
Last week, developer Sledgehammer Games rolled out a sizable content update to the next-gen console versions of the game in honor of Advanced Warfare's one-month launch anniversary. The patch fixes a little bit of everything, from balancing weapons to squashing bugs to beefing up anti-cheat measures to tweaking some multiplayer modes. The full patch notes can be found over on the Call of Duty community page if you're interested in digging through the whole list.
According to the developer's Twitter, the same update that's now live on PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 has already been submitted to first-party approval on both PC and PS3, so don't expect it to take too long to port over to these last two platforms.
New Update Hits The Master Chief Collection
Some of the effects that Xbox 360 players will notice after downloading the patch are that some weapons have been retooled in terms of damage and range. Players won't deal quite as much damage with the powerful Bal27 anymore, but players who like the feel of the ASM1 will find that they can hit players from a bit farther away now. Further, some multiplayer game modes have been adjusted a bit for the sake of balance. Spawn logic has been improved in Capture the Flag, Uplink and Hardpoint, and players will find that they can't pass the Satellite Drone as far as they used to in Uplink.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
