We now have just less than two months to go until the release of Dying Light, and the details of the game's season pass are already here. Additional levels, outfits, weapons and a new game mode will all be included in the $19.99 content pack.
LittleBigPlanet Launches With A Whole Host Of Bugs And Crashing
Two levels, Cuisine and Cargo, are set to drop as part of the season pass. The first allows players to explore an abandoned restaurant that has been filled with nothing but zombies since the beginning of the outbreak. The second tasks players with picking up supplies from a railroad yard that, as luck would have it, is also filled with zombies.
Also offered as part of the season pass is a new gameplay mode, available in both single player and co-op. In the Bozak Horde gameplay mode, players must enter into an arena and square off against hordes of zombies to be able to face the final boss, a mysterious figure named Bozak. Finally, the season pass will give players access to a whole collection of in-game outfits and weapons.
More Than 6 Years After Launch, Metal Gear Solid 4 Is About To Make Its PSN Debut
The added content will be distributed over the course of three content drops, the first of which arrives in February, a month after the game's release.
Dying Light is taking the concept of a zombie survival game and adding in fresh gameplay elements like smooth freerunning navigation and a day/night cycle that heavily affects zombie behavior. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting January 27. An Ultimate Edition is also about to be put up for preorder that includes both the game and its season pass.
