This should come as zero surprise for anyone who is at least passingly familiar with Disney franchises. Most films have at least one if not more sequels (but the only good one is the Aladdin Trilogy. Return of Jafar was the truth). This announcement is not to be confused with the six-minute short that will be running in theaters in the spring of 2015. Frozen fans will have to wait to get their fix of the famous Ice Queen and her little sister, Anna. Director Jennifer Lee is currently all tied up with the making of a Disney adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time and won't be able to come on board for the frosty project until at least that is all wrapped. You'll have to get your Elsa fix through Once Upon a Time, as the character has been added to the fantasy inspired show's line up. She debuted in the current season much to fans' delight along with her sister, the less magical Anna.
