Telltale Games has announced the release date schedule for the first episode of its Game of Thrones adaptation on all platforms.
HBO GO App Now Available On Xbox One
Iron From Ice (episode one) will first launch Tuesday, December 2 on PC and Mac, as well as on the PlayStation 4 in the U.S. The Xbox One, Xbox 360, and European PS4 versions will release the next day, December 3. The iOS edition will follow on December 4, and for PS3 December 9. An Android version is confirmed as well, but there is no release date at this time.
Like Telltale's other series The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, the Game of Thrones title will be released episodically over time. The other episodes are likely many months away, since not too much is even known about Iron From Ice despite its impending release date.

What we do know about the series is that players will take control of five members of House Forrester, bannermen to House Stark. Your actions with each will have an effect on the greater Game of Thrones universe, but also on the other members of House Forrester. Throughout the season, players will journey to locations recognizable from the show and George R.R. Martin's book series A Song of Ice and Fire such as King's Landing and The Wall. You'll also spend time in new locales such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester. The game's events will begin towards the end of the HBO series' third season, ending its narrative arc just before the beginning of season five.
The recently-released trailer, below, previews House Forrester's place in Westeros, with an ominous voiceover by Lena Heady, the actress behind the HBO series' Cersei Lannister. Telltale announced that she will be joined by Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow) in the game, with more cast members joining in the future.
