We must have done something right because it is only the day after Thanksgiving, but it certainly feels a lot like Christmas. CD Projekt RED knew exactly what we wanted this year. After all, we've been so good. The company has released The Witcher Adventure Game, the board game adaptation of their beloved series, onto digital markets.

Yes, that's right. Digital board game. The board game title was created by CD Projekt RED and prolific game creators Fantasy Flight. The digital release is spearheaded by Can Explode. "Both versions, i.e. physical and digital, offer the same, thrilling experience, and contain over 280 cards and 30 monsters. In addition, the physical version contains meticulously crafted figures of in-game characters, and specially created, superior quality dice by Q-Workshop."
"We are very excited to bring Adventure Game to Witcher and board game fans alike. We have worked with Ignacy Trzewiczek, Fantasy Flight and Can Explode for a long time to make this an ideal entry for board game beginners, as well as a fun experience for people who know this genre and universe by heart." said RafaÅ Jaki, The Witcher Adventure Game Executive Producer.

"The rules are simple but not simplistic, the artwork creates a phenomenal atmosphere that just drips out of the board, and the physical components are of the best of possible quality. We hope you will enjoy this game for months and years to come."
Nothing about Fantasy Flight games are simple. Therein lies half the fun of figuring it all out.
Players assume control of one of four characters from the beloved Witcher series: Geralt, Triss Merigold, Yarpen Zigrin or Dandelion. Explore, fight and survive against AI opponents, or your friends. The game does support online multiplayer. It even has an offline mode!
The Witcher Adventure Game is available for iOS and Android tablets for $5.99 and is also on Steam and GOG for PC and Mac for $9.99 (currently on sale for $8.99). It hopes to keep you company until The Witcher III: Wild Hunt makes its debut in February.
