Rockstar has fixed the issue related to transferring GTA Online profiles between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with the Xbox update set for tomorrow.
Neverwinter MMO Releases Rise Of Tiamat Update
The problem, as reported earlier today, prevented some players who hadn't logged in to the service during 2014 from moving their accounts to the new consoles. Grand Theft Auto V just launched on PS4 and Xbox One, and those who now own both copies are meant to be able to transfer their progress to the new version.
Rockstar stated on its support site that it's looking into the issue, and have in fact already fixed the problem on Sony's systems--the update should be live now. It's unclear if the issue on PS3 or PS4 was easier to fix or the team simply had to prioritize one, but the Xbox update will hit tomorrow regardless.
