Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced the release of Rise of Tiamat, the next module for the Neverwinter MMO.
Our All-Time Top Five Competitive Halo Maps
Rise of Tiamat will conclude the Season of Dragons, following the Tyranny of Dragons module (there's a lot of dragons) and the Siege of Neverwinter. Players will today be able to travel to the Well of Dragons, a new zone ransacked by the Cult of Dragons (I told you).
The main draw of the module, of course, is the introduction of Tiamat, Queen of Dragons and an infamous Dungeons & Dragons character--you can take her on in a 25-player boss battle.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection Matchmaking Patch Delayed
"Our team is extremely pleased to bring Tiamat to Neverwinter, as she is one of the most iconic villains in Dungeons & Dragons lore," said Rob Overmeyer, executive producer of Neverwinter. "In order to have her live up to expectations, we created one of the largest in-game encounters ever made for our game. It's a testament to our team's goal of delivering a quality Dungeons & Dragons and gameplay experience."
Also added is the Soulbinder paragon path for the Scourge Warlock class, which specializes in draining the life of enemies and using it in attacks. You can watch the launch trailer below, which shows off some of the new content and Tiamat herself--that's a lot of heads.
