The next time Xbox One owners fire up their copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, there should be a new patch waiting for them, specifically the second half of last week's lag patch.
Data Transfers To The Next-Gen Version Of GTA V Not Working For Some Users
Unlike the earlier patch from last week that added in a host of bug fixes and community-requested changes, this new patch only serves to add in some more connectivity optimizations for the game, with a handful of smaller bug fixes to go with it. Call of Duty players have been taking to various forums since the game's launch two weeks ago, complaining about lag and connectivity issues. Hopefully, this second half of the game's lag patch will help Xbox One owners lose some of that frustration during multiplayer.
The Xbox One announcement can be found on this page, which includes the sizable list of additions that rolled out in the first half of the patch.
The Matchmaking Patch For The Master Chief Collection Has Been Delayed
With Part 2 of the lag patch hitting Xbox One systems, the full patch is now available on PC and both next-gen consoles. When the fixes will start rolling out for last-gen players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is less certain. On Friday, when the patch went live for PC and PlayStation 4, the developers said that similar updates would be coming to last-gen consoles "soon," though there doesn't seem to be definitive word on that yet.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
