Star Trek Online Delta Rising Bonus Episode 'What's Left Behind' Releases Tomorrow; Robert Picardo and Denise Crosby Help Answer Expansion's Many Maddening Questions

Star Trek Online Delta Rising Bonus Episode Seeks To Figure Out 'What's Left Behind' Alongside The Doctor And Tasha Yar

Attention, crew members, this is your captain speaking. Cryptic Studios will launch additional content for the recently released Delta Rising expansion for Star Trek Online.

EverQuest's 21st Expansion, The Darkened Sea, Launches

The new episode, ominously titled 'What's Left Behind' aims to shed light on some unanswered questions that left level 60 captains begging for more. There was a last minute reveal that thoroughly shook the foundations of the Delta Quadrant story arcs.

What's Left Behind will feature voice acting from Star Trek alums Robert Picardo, who played Voyager's holographic Doctor; and Denise Crosby, who has had a rollercoaster ride in her Star Trek Career as Next Generation's first major death: Tasha Yar. In true Roddenberry-esque style, Yar did not stay dead for long and instead spent a lot of time going back and forth through timelines, even birthing a half-Romulan daughter along the way.

The episode will launch tomorrow, November 13.

Arc and Cryptic released an ominous blog post, told in the style of a Captain's log update. It regards a mysterious device the crew of the Voyager picked up that directly relates to the new episode.

Because if we have learned anything, it's that nothing bad ever happens when Starfleet vessels pick up mysterious objects.

"The alloys are unusual. They resemble some the things we've seen in Vaadwaur tech or the Solanae sphere, but they're not quite right. The mix is off - there's more than enough fistrium to block anything but a directed sensor scan, but too much for a strong alloy. The metal is brittle, and the components are delicate. We're being extremely careful with the device, because a good knock might damage it beyond repair."

"I think it's some sort of communications device, but that's just an educated guess."
