Wizards of the Coast is pleased to announce that no longer will it simply be the PC, mobile or 360 players of the world enjoying the fruits of Magic 2015 - Duels of the Planeswalkers. The yearly entry into the Magic: The Gathering digital series is finally out now on Xbox One.
Black Lotus: Why It's Worth So Much Damn Money
The game's latest expansion, Garruk's Revenge, will also release today on Xbox One, iPad via the iTunes Store, PC via Steam, Android via Google Play and Amazon Marketplace, with a Xbox 360 edition coming soon. I am curious what the holdup is, considering the Xbox 360 version of the game has been out since July.
The expansion will cost $4.99. Along with the release of Garruk's Revenge, all cards available to players in the original Magic 2015 campaign, Hunt Bigger Game, and the expansion are now entirely earnable through gameplay. Or you purchase the campaign for $9.99.
Blizzard Trademarks Eye Of Azshara: For Warcraft Or Hearthstone?
Garruk's Revenge puts the fate of Garruk Wildspeaker, the deadliest hunter in the Multiverse, in players' hands. He's a Planeswalker who hunts other Planeswalkers! With four new Campaign levels and an expanded Explore level, players take on the role of Garruk, using his deck to battle their way through challenging foes. With every victory, Garruk's deck strengthens, becoming more and more corrupt.
The Expansion features a collection of fan-favorite cards from the Shards of Alara block, which players unlock to later modify their own deck creations as they hunt their prey across the planes of the Multiverse.
Magic 2015 - Duels of the Planeswalkers has received mixed reviews that say the game is not as smooth as its predecessor and lacks a lot of core gameplay elements players have longed for. This year has also been the age of Hearthstone, with Blizzard's own F2P CCG gobbling up many of the Magic players.
Head on over to the Xbox One Marketplace and pick up your copy today. There's no loss in trying.
