The PlayStation 4 version of the Evolve alpha--delayed due to the troublesome 2.00 system update--is now live alongside its Xbox One and PC counterparts.

The new PS4 software is causing a variety of problems such as console freezing with rest mode, but the developers at Turtle Rock have navigated the issues and deployed the game to eager fans. In addition, the Big Alpha will be extended on all systems until Tuesday, November 4 at 12 p.m. PST.
The developers want to remind fans that it is an alpha build, and even though most matches are playable to completion, some players will experience drops or other issues.

For the PC players out there: owning a copy of XCOM: Enemy Unknown on Steam will net you access to the alpa--it's likely in your library right now, if you haven't already spotted it. The full version of Evolve is set for launch on all systems February 10.
