The latest update for Tanki Online has changed the way the game's product kits work, making them harder to get but cheaper than ever.

Product kits in Tanki Online are easy ways to buy supplies and tank parts in one place at a pretty substantial discount. The first big change to product kits, however, makes it a bit trickier to grab the specific product kit that you're looking for. Product kits will now be offered on a limited-time basis, with a countdown timer on each one letting players know when they're set to expire and be replaced by a new kit. Not only will this encourage players to be a bit more aggressive when buying kits, but it'll also, in the developer's own words, "keep things interesting."
The good side to this update is that product kits will now be cheaper than ever. Whenever an individual object inside a kit is discounted for one reason or another, the price of the entire kit goes down along with it. For example, if a Hornet hull is enjoying a special price cut during a promotion, any product kit containing that hull will go down in price accordingly.

This also applies to the discount you get when purchasing the next mod of a tank part that you've fully upgraded. So if you have a fully upgraded Thunder M1 turret, you get a discount on the Thunder M2. Likewise, any product kit containing the Thunder M2 would then receive a greater discount.
Tanki Online is free to play right from your browser. An announced port utilizing the Unity game engine is in the works with plans to offer cross-platform play.
