Smite's next patch is upon us. Not only is it bringing in the new mage-killer Nox, but it's also giving some of the game's weaker and stronger gods some balances.

Nox is the biggest addition to the new patch. With her kit that can punish enemies for using their own abilities, Nox is a great counter for ability-focused mages. Watch out for physical powerhouses, though, as Nox doesn't have much protection from strong auto attacks.
The patch is also adding in Daily Login Bonuses. These bonuses will be given out to players whenever they log in, with increasing bonuses for players who log in in every day. It's an easy way to incentivize players to keep playing. The patch notes don't seem to mention what kind of rewards players can look forward to, though.

Finally, a group of gods were rebalanced, either making them stronger or taking them down a peg. In the buff category, the casting time for Ah Muzen Cab's ultimate was halved, and its damage scaling was increased. Hel fans were also happy to discover that the goddess can now change stances more fluidly with only one-fifth the recovery time needed after using that ability. Finally, Sun Wukong's Magic Cudgel ability got a damage buff for minions and jungle camps, and Tyr's Cleave was buffed to help him heal better in the late game.
As for the gods who received a little nerf in the patch, Ra's Speed of Light and Divine Light abilities were weakened. The patch also removes Knockback protection from Geb's Stone Shield ability.
