Both seasons of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead have made their way onto both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America today, but European fans will have to wait an extra week for their turn.

Telltale's award-winning episodic series is now available for download for next-gen consoles. You can also pick up the new retail versions, which have now released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well.
Unfortunately for European players who were hoping to pick up either the next-gen console downloads or the retail versions this week, the European release date has now been moved back to October 31. On the bright side, there are few better ways to celebrate Halloween than picking up the latest game from the multimedia franchise that brought zombies back into the forefront in a big way.

"Now available on over 6,000 devices from console to mobile, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 formats usher in an even greater reach for Telltale," said Kevin Bruner, president and co-founder of Telltale Games, in a release, "and we're excited to be preparing players across the world for a thrilling third season that's yet to come."
If you're unfamiliar with the series, The Walking Dead is a narrative-focused game that allows the player to develop the story through conversation trees. Decisions made early on in the game can often have effects in later episodes, and Telltale always ends each episode by presenting the player with percentages for how other players responded to major decisions in the narrative. You can see which of your choices were controversial and which were largely agreed upon by the rest of the player base.
Both seasons of The Walking Dead are available now on a horde of different consoles and mobile platforms.
