Tis the season for all manner of ghoulish delights. The team over at Supercell is once again going to be adding a Halloween event for their immensely popular mobile title, Clash of Clans.

In a forum post by mod Anoushka, he teased that a new Halloween update is close at hand. He also revealed an ominous looking image, that of an skeleton's hand rising from the ground.
Says Anoushka, "It's a small update more focused on the Halloween theme (see that new obstacle? Elixir bonus!) but with some cool new features too."

Details on the update are lacking. Clash of Clans has run a Halloween event before, which changed up the loading screen for something a little more festive, added a Pumpkin Bomb and added some Halloween effects to the obstacles. Charming, really. The new obstacle will be the gravestones, though whether they will come with their own personal skeletons is another matter.
Obstacles will occasionally give gems for boosting when they are removed; Anoushka is hinting that the new gravestone obstacles may give something elixir. Hey, I can always use more. Punk kids always coming into my lawn and stealing the stuff.
But what of the cool new features? Now that has me greatly interested. Can we go trick-or-treating to other players now, politely asking for candy (or gems) and when we are rebuffed, attack them with all our collected might? That sounds like fun, and in keeping with the spirit of the game and holiday.
More soon. So, what are you hoping will come out for this year's Halloween update?
