The hit HBO TV series 'Game of Thrones' launched its video trailer for the upcoming role playing video game.
The game is based off of the TV shows and fantasy novel written by George R.R. Martin. Game of Thrones the RPG, reveals an intriguing back story of the main characters. Fans will control two characters, Mors and the red priest Alester, who were soldiers for King Robert Baratheon.
The heroes embark on epic quests throughout the fantasy world of Westeros. Like the TV series, the game's plot will be littered with conspiracies, vengeance, allegiance, honor, and family.
Similar to the show will be the game's epic adventures that promises over 30 hours of play value. From viewing the trailer, players can expect an exciting dose of action with sword duels and epic battles.
Game of Thrones the RPG will seek for better reviews than its predecessor 'A Game of Thrones: Genesis. Its previous PC title was deemed a terrible strategy game along with a lack of commonality to the HBO TV series. Fans felt there was disconnect between the game's characters and plot.
Game development company Cyanide will look to change that with its latest title. Game of Thrones the RPG will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation, and PC with an unspecified release date sometime in May.
