The inaugural Final FANtasy XIV Fan Festival taking place in London later this month has been sold out for quite some time now. Fans who wished to attend were forced into all manner of shady black market dealings to acquire tickets, but no more. You can still enjoy the event via a livestream during the fest.

Not so fast, though. You might still have to pay for a ticket. Square Enix announced "premium and standard streaming options for the event later this month - with those opting for the Premium Livestream able to watch all the content from the show live, uncut and in HD as well as receiving a complimentary Moogle Attire in-game item to celebrate the occasion." No word on pricing as of yet.
In addition to the Moogle costume, viewers will gain access to the opening keynote by Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida, and the closing ceremonies event, which I can only imagine is the second most colorful display of costumes since the Olympics.

There, of course, will be a free version streaming the SD feed, though it includes no code or access to the keynote or closing ceremonies.
If you are going to miss the London event, you can always check out the mini-fan convention at Las Vegas on October 18-19. Another event in Tokyo has been added for December 22. Streams and pricing will be made available at a later date.
"Fan Festival will celebrate everything FF XIV and will give some of its two and a half million adventurers the chance to meet the game's developers, participate in in-game events, enjoy live entertainment, bag some exclusive event loot, and much, much more!"
You can find out more information regarding the festival at the official site.
