The RATED-R SUPERSTAR Adam "Edge" Copeland may not be in this year's edition of 2K Sports' WWE series WWE 2K15. A couple of tweets from the man himself brought some disheartening news.
WWE 2K15's MyCareer Mode Explained, NXT Superstars Confirmed
In WWE 2K15, players may choose to play with Superstars, Divas or Legends in randomized matches or play out legendary feuds such as Kane vs Undertaker in Showcase mode. In MyCareer mode they can create their own fighters and have them start from the bottom all the way up to a spot on Monday Night Raw on the WWE Network, allying and feuding with real-life superstars along the way.
After the dismissal of Zack Ryder earlier, now it seems that Adam "Edge" Copeland will also not be in the game after some dismissive tweets on the subject. Note that while the Korean fan in the first tweet says it's good to have him in-game, a lot of other fan-replies say he isn't (on top of Edge himself claiming ignorance, of course).
WWE 2K15 PC Version Coming Anyway?
The fact that Edge hasn’t been scanned in years and they actually did scan Hulk Hogan (even though you’re going to replay decades-old matches in Showcase mode) makes things look grim for fans of the Rated-R Superstar. Will this impact your purchase?
WWE 2K15 is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 28 and 31 for North America and Europe. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be arriving on November 18 and 21 for those territories, respectively.
