The race to see who can manufacture the largest phone is on! Apple's got its contender in the ring, Samsung will be sending in its entry within the month, and now it looks like Motorola and Google are teaming up to make the largest one yet.
Apple's New Tool Lets You Check To See If That iPhone You're Buying Is Stolen
New leaked pictures of Google's Nexus 6, found over at Android Police, show just how beefy this behemoth phone is. With a rumored 5.9-inch screen, the Nexus 6 can cast a shadow over both the iPhone 6 Plus and the soon to be released Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The pictures also give a good look at the phone's bottom speaker and what looks to be a very off-center front-facing camera near the right side of the top speaker.
One of the pictures also shows off the phone's side buttons, which are placed in a slightly unusual position halfway down the phone.
DirectX 12 Release Coming With Windows 10, Compatible With Unreal Engine 4
The Nexus 6 is rumored to have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a whopping 13-megapixel rear camera. It's also said to have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage alongside its nearly 6-inch screen.
The Nexus 6 will be Motorola's first time manufacturing one of Google's Nexus phones. After the original Nexus One by HTC, the manufacturing duties of the Android smartphone line have been split between tech giants Samsung and LG. In fact, the Nexus 6 will be the Motorola's introduction into the entire Nexus line of products.
The official reveal of the Nexus 6 is rumored to be fast approaching, sometime this month by most estimates, with a release soon after.
