With sports games like WWE 2K15 that come out yearly, there's often a sense of fatigue with fans. Why buy this new edition if the one that was released last year is still doing its job well enough? Well, WWE 2K15's Career Invasion feature might just be the thing to convince wrestling fans.
PC Gamers Might Lay The WWE Smackdown As Well
We've told you about MyCareer mode before, but an exciting feature of it that has gone unmentioned so far (and thanks to The Bleacher Report for this) is Career Invasion. So you've made your own Superstar or Diva, taken him/her through the motions at the WWE Performance Center under Bill DeMott in Orlando, FL, made it through the objectives and are ready to face your opponents in NXT, the new talent league.
Oh snap! Suddenly your cousin's self-created fighter bursts in as you're putting a headlock on, say, Adrian Neville. He busts a chair over your dome and sends you spiraling into shameful defeat, thereby making you miss the match objective. Or... he helps you out and a new alliance is formed!
Do You Have What It Takes To Make Monday Night RAW In WWE 2K15?
Point is - thanks to career invasion, you don't know. This element of randomness and chaos is actually a pretty perfect addition to a video game adaptation of a sport that thrives on such surprises. You can have up to 5 Superstars/Divas set to invade your game - all you need is their creator's PSN ID or gamertag. Pretty much the most awesome thing I've heard about this game so far!
WWE 2K15 is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 28 and 31 in North America and Europe. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are coming on November 18 and 21 in those same territories respectively.
