Let's get one thing out of the way: When people play RollerCoaster Tycoon, they'll inevitably try to crash their creations or otherwise cause harm to their loyal clientele.

Xbox exclusive ScreamRide knows this, and they embrace it.
The game is on display in a video from Xbox's Major Nelson that was posted yesterday. In the video, we learn all there is to know about this upcoming game from veteran roller coaster sim developer Frontier Developments. The game's focus is on creating high-octane, larger than life roller coasters. And unlike its predecessors, the point of ScreamRide is to cause as much destruction as possible. Players are encouraged to whip around their roller coaster cars in attempts to dislodge defenseless riders and crash their creations in spectacular fashion, perhaps even taking down buildings in the process.
Battlefield 4 Fall Patch Notes Detailed
For those lucky gamers who don't easily succumb to motion sickness, the game allows builders to take a first-person ride on their terrifying creations alongside the passengers who wisely wear crash suits. ScreamRide also includes fully customizable rides other than roller coasters. Players will be able to construct their own thrill rides where riders are whipped around in a pod.
Frontier Developments has worked on RollerCoaster Tycoon games both on PC and on consoles, and they took the lead in theme park sim Thrillville for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox generation. Because of this, the roller coaster building interfaces in ScreamRide have the benefit of years of fine tuning, making the construction of 80 mph death machines the easy part.
ScreamRide is set to come out for Xbox One and Xbox 360 systems in the spring.
