A bundle containing Super Smash Bros for Wii U, the Wii U-to-GameCube controller adapter, and a new GameCube controller has been sighted on Amazon.

The package is priced at $99.99, and has what seems to be a placeholder release date of 12/31/2014. The official launch day has still not been named for the console version of the title, despite that the 3DS edition set to release in one week.
Many fans will prefer the traditional controller style offered by the GameCube pad, and so it makes sense that Nintendo would go ahead and package the adapter and controller with the game. The two items are available on their own (some may have working controllers and only need an adapter, for example), but I suspect this bundle may interest many. Buying the bundle should also save you about $10 based on the announced pricing, so if you'd like all of these elements, it seems to be the best deal.

Official confirmation from Nintendo should come eventually, though when exactly is anyone's guess. For some speculation on my part, Amazon posting this bundle is as good as an official confirmation that it exists and is on the way, regardless of what Nintendo is planning to announce at what times. The delay in revealing the release date of the Wii U version has caused some speculation about its state, but it's very possible Nintendo is just taking the time to focus on the launch of the 3DS version--there isn't much to worry about, and now we know there will be a new bundle to take advantage of as well.
