Available as a digital download over the PSN Store and the Xbox Live Games Store, the new console port adds an expanded story to last year's original PC release. The game promises new story elements and extended levels to make sure the console experience isn't just a rehash of the PC version.

Existing PC players don't need to feel shorted, though. All of the new content being brought to the console version of Slender: The Arrival will be available as free DLC. More information on this will be coming in a few weeks.

The Sims 4 Includes A Horrifying Baby Glitch

In Slender: The Arrival, the player is tasked with following a trail of clues and solving the mystery that hangs over a haunted community. Armed with only a flashlight, the player will interact with people who have been affected by Slender Man and make sense of the visions and audio clues that plague him, all to get one step closer to solving the secret behind this horror story.

The whole package comes with a healthy amount of unease, paranoia and looking over your shoulder as you try to survive the onslaught of monsters standing between you and the truth. Of course, the whole thing is underlined by frequent yet always unexpected appearances by the lanky, faceless man himself.

Slender: The Arrival is available now on PlayStation 3 and tomorrow on Xbox 360 for $9.99. Don't bother looking behind you. Chances are he's already there.
