When the PlayStation TV hits store shelves next month, it'll come out of the box boasting compatibility with almost 700 games, the PlayStation blog announced today.

This Weekend, Sony Is Letting All PS4 Players Play Online Multiplayer Without A PS Plus Subscription

Some pretty big franchise names are on this Day One list, including God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Borderlands, and Killzone. Little Orbit's upcoming game Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will be compatible with the new system as well once it launches in November. You can check out to see if your favorite game made the cut here.

If something you're looking for isn't there right now, fear not. The library will be expanding with time, including compatibility for Minecraft, the post says.

PS TV will be launching October 14 for $99. A bundle that includes a DualShock 3 controller, an 8 GB memory card and a compatible copy of the Lego Movie videogame will be available for $139. A limited edition bundle from Walmart throws a copy of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time into the pot for the same price.

PS Vita games have some of the best representation on the PS TV, if only because Vita cartridges can be plugged directly into the system. Vita titles can also be downloaded onto a PS TV. Also downloadable are what Sony is calling PlayStation Classics, old PS One and PSP games like Final Fantasy VII and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

For users with a PlayStation 4, the PS TV will be able to stream games via Remote Play, letting you switch TVs at a moment's notice while you play your next-gen games. PlayStation Now, the game streaming service currently in beta, will be coming to PS TV as well, bringing PlayStation 3 games into the system's library.

PlayStation TV will be available October 14 starting at $99.99.
