Excited To Pick Up Driveclub For The PS4 Later This Year? This New Steering Wheel Peripheral Might Be For You

Thrustmaster, the game peripheral manufacturer with one of the most powerful names imaginable, announced its new racing wheel and pedal peripheral for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC: the T300 RS.

The PlayStation 4 has a lot of driving games to look forward to in the near future. The Crew from Ubisoft will be dropping in November, and the PS4's own exclusive Driveclub, the gorgeous racing game that has been advertised as long as the console itself, will be released in October. For hardcore fans who will want to play these games with a little extra hardware, Thrustmaster has you covered.

The T300 RS is a force feedback wheel that lets players "feel the road." The wheel offers super smooth handling, meaning you'll only feel the wheel when it wants you to. The wheel also bosts 16-bit resolution, meaning that there are more than 65,000 different values that the wheel can register, an impressive amount of accuracy that should come in handy in Driveclub's harsh dynamic weather system.

The T300 RS is compatible with both the PS3 and PS4, and it includes a switch on its base that can let you tell it which system to optimize for. The wheel itself includes all of the buttons a player would need access to while playing a PS4 game, including the Share button. Just because you have a cool new steering wheel peripheral shouldn't mean you can't share your sweet drifting replays with your friends.

The T300 RS is releasing this month and starts at $399.99.
