As Ubisoft keeps fanning the flames of hype for the November release of Assassin's Creed Unity, we're getting more and more information about the little details, including Arno's taste in fine weaponry.
One In-Game, Playable Scene In Assassin's Creed Unity Contains 12,000 People
This Imgur gallery holds several 3D models of Unity weapons taken from the AC Unity Unite preorder program. Judging by the design of these weapons, one thing becomes abundantly clear: Arno has a taste for the high class. Each of his weapons is covered with delicate, silver ornamentation and looks like something that should be displayed in a case, not used to dismember Parisian guards.

Intricate finery notwithstanding, it's good to see the return of the spear as a weapon after a long hiatus. A spear stolen from a guard quickly became one of Ezio's most brutal weapons during his trilogy, and it will be nice to have more access to mid-range melee in France. Also notable is the powerful hunting rifle Arno will get to carry around, which looks a lot more deadly – not to mention easier to wield – than the awkward muskets of the Assassin's Creed American trilogy.
Today, Ubisoft also released a new gameplay trailer for the Assassin's Creed Unity co-op mode, which you can watch below. Though it mostly comes across as cinematic, it showcases the wide variety of weapons the Assassins will get to wield during co-op play, as well as the great deal of customization each player can add to his own Assassin avatar. Though there's not much to go on gameplay-wise, the trailer does show a scene of Arno helping a fellow Assassin to his feet after he is cut down by a guard, which suggests a reviving mechanic for co-op play.
Assassin's Creed Unity is set to release November 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
