In a move showing Jagex is definitely working on Transformers Universe with great care, we're getting yet another patch for the space robot fighting tactical action game, with some very specific player concerns being addressed.
Regarding the patch: Showdown, an Autobot tank (in the tank-healer-DPS sense, he doesn't turn into a tank) was consistently seen as one of the weakest and quickest-to-die fighters in the game as more and more warriors were introduced with very specific counters to his buffs. "Shield Flux now sacrifices up to 350 Shield (down from 550), heals nearby allies' shield for 80% of this (up from 50%; although the net difference from a full sacrifice has only gone up by 5 points), and absorbs for 275% + 100 of the sacrificed Shield (up from 175% + 100)" say the patch notes.
On the other hand, Swagger, a DPS Autobot, has been nerfed a bit. As per the notes: "The changes made to Shield Surge allows Swagger to get slightly higher DPS long term (if he can maintain his shield), but an average burst damage reduction of ~28% with base stats. The single target "profit" in damage (subtracting the damage he causes to himself from the damage dealt to a single enemy) has gone down by ~19% per activation on average."

For the full patch notes, click here. The implementation of these patches will cause the game to go offline on Wednesday September 10 from 12:00 p.m. BST / 01:00 p.m. CEST / 04:00 a.m. (PDT) for three hours in order to apply the latest game update.
Additionally, for the rest of the week, you can buy Decepticon warriors at the in-game Hangar at 25% off, as the screenshot above indicates. Founders Pack warriors will still only be available to those with Silver, Gold or Cybernite Packs, though.
You can try the browser-based game at the official Transformers: Universe site.
