Last week, a glitch in Madden 15 that spawned a 1-foot-tall linebacker on the Tennessee Titans made its way around the Internet, spawning a healthy collection of funny tweets, Vines and videos. Instead of fixing this glitch, however, EA saw the Tiny Titan's popularity and ran with it, introducing a weekly challenge starring the little linebacker.
Madden 15 Glitch Puts 1-Foot-Tall Linebacker In The Game
In the original glitch, 6-foot-2 Cleveland Brown linebacker Christian Kirksey was placed on the Tennessee Titans and accidentally given a height value of 1-foot-2-inches. The result was one part adorable and one part inspiring as the tiny defender went for picks and did his best to tackle ball carriers five times his size.
Now, EA has brought the artificially small Kirksey back into the game with a Madden Ultimate Team Weekly Challenge. In this mode, Kirksey is back on the Browns, though he's keeping his trademark short stature. The player is tasked with taking down the Browns, tiny linebacker and all.
Madden 15 Xbox One Bundle Announced
The short-lived downloadable might already be off the market, but at least the Tiny Titan got his chance to play in the big leagues. There are plenty of 5- and 6-foot-tall college players who can't say the same.
Of course, the real Kirksey has been more than willing to play along with the memorable glitch, both on Twitter and in the inspiring promo video EA Sports released for the Tiny Titan Challenge
Madden 15 is available now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
