Publisher Midnight City announced that Slender: The Arrival will be hitting consoles at the end of the month, so now we get to celebrate with an unnerving new trailer.

The new Slender Man game from developer Blue Isle Studios hits the PlayStation 3 first on September 23. It'll then make its way to the Xbox 360 the next day on the 24th. Both will be available for $9.99 as a digital download on PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Games Store, respectively.
The new trailer also teases the addition of two new levels for the console game. For those who already have the game either on PC or over Steam, the new content will be available as free DLC.
Evoland 2 Is Bringing Its RPG Tribute To The Next Level
Slender: The Arrival first released for PC in March 2013 then arrived on Steam last October. It serves as a kind of sequel to the 2012 freeware game Slender: The Eight Pages from Parsec Productions. In the game, players are armed with only a flashlight as they make their way through several different levels that aren't exactly friendly. Each level presents a different threat to the character's physical (and the player's psychological) well-being with an ever-present threat of Slender Man appearing. The lanky antagonist can spawn menacingly across the map or go for the instant scare by teleporting directly in front of the player.
Various physical and audio clues help the player crack the mystery that lies in the middle of the game. Of course, picking up on clues is more of a secondary objective after trying not to die.
