Are you all excited for November yet? What a stupid question, of course you are! Now, BioWare writer Patrick Weekes has let slip some tidbits on Dragon Age: Inquisition's length and a (for BioWare) relatively odd romance choice.
Dragon Age 3 Will Have Zombie Unicorn Mounts!
Weekes tweeted out that even though he is not a completionist player at all, he finished the third installment of the Dragon Age franchise in about 80 hours. He did also add that while he's not a completionist, he didn't rush through it either. That would make it seem like an "average" playthrough then could be around 80 hours.
In other, saucier news - and of the type that true BioWare fans eagerly await, of course - Mark Darrah, also of BioWare, confirmed that while the elf party member Solas will be a romance option available only to other elves, and female ones at that. After the "anything goes" vibe that Dragon Age 2 went for with its romances, this seems terribly restrictive. Darrah nonetheless promises Solas' romantic preferences will be justified by the story.
What Exactly Is In The DA3 Deluxe Edition?
BioWare is quite well known for being an LGBTQAI-friendly gaming company, so it's probably too early to get upset about this. Let's just see how it plays out in the 80+ hours we'll spend with the apostate elf!
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on October 7 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
