If you ever thought, man, I really like Match 3 games, but I also really like RPGs, then have I got something for you.
Aaaaaw Yeah, Icewind Dale Remake All Up In iOS!
Bandai Namco has recently released Jewel Fight: Heroes Of Legend, a free to play game available for iOS and Android devices. The game puts you in the role of one of three characters, Warrior, Mage or Rogue as you attempt to thwart back the forces of darkness. And much like The Seventh Seal, you're going to do that by playing games.
Rather than a direct combat system, where each side takes turns hacking and/or slashing each other until the other is dead, Jewel Fight puts a more fantastical spin on the Doctor Mario formula: match gems, build up your power bar, attack and win.
Hold Off On Getting The Sims Today, There's A Whole Lot That Needs Fixing
Be careful, though. Only certain jewel combinations affect your power bar, others will aid your adversary. So a measure of caution and pre-planning is necessary so that you don't shoot yourself in the foot. It's highly addictive and should appease fans of both story-based role playing games and those who need a quick cool down at the end of a hard day.
The game features over 100 stages and dozens of weapon combinations, which can be purchased with in-game gold or bought with Crystals, which can be purchased with real world currency.
Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend opens players to a vast world of exploration, teeming with special event locations to discover, hordes of perilous threats to conquer and arsenals of weaponry and enhancements to amass. Achievements add special challenges to the journey while leaderboards and a competitive Arena Mode let champions duke it out for online hero status.
It is an easy game to get lost in. It provides just enough of everything you want in an easy to digest package. You can pick up Jewel Fight: Heroes Of Legend for the iOS here and for Google Play here.
