Agents Of SHIELD Season 2 Adds One Superhero, One Supervillain
The big Iron Man style superstar of Marvel's Phase 3 is going to be Dr. Strange, no doubt about it. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is a huge fan of the Sorcerer Supreme, and horror director Scott Derickson is already tapped to direct the master of the mystic arts' first cinematic outing. After earlier Comic Con rumblings of Joaquin Phoenix being talked to, the far more affordable Jack Huston may be a contender for the role now.
Jeremy Renner told Collider: "There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don't know what's going to happen there. I've got to find the time, man (laughs). I'm trying to stay home and I can't."

Meanwhile, Joe Russo, of the Winter Soldier and Community paintball episode directing Russo brothers, told CinemaBlend: "Do they have to be under contract with Marvel? Maybe they are at another studio. [...] Listen, when I started collecting, The Secret Wars was one of the first books I ever bought, so that's always been an obsession of mine to see something of that scale done - a crossover. I don't know if that would ever be possible, with all the different situations at the studios. But I would love to see a lot of characters on screen together."
In other pipedream news, the amazing Neil Marshall, director of Doomsday, Centurion and two of the best Game of Thrones episodes. has told Vanity Fair he'd "love to do a Black Widow movie. That's perfect, I would love to do that. That character is really interesting, she doesn't have any superpowers, she just has extraordinary skills, and the world that she comes from, being this ex-K.G.B. assassin, I find that really fascinating, yeah."
