Game Developer Ubisoft brings a new style of FPS games through its Far Cry series. Their latest title, Far Cry 3, will be a combination of the open-world gameplay from Far Cry 2 mixed with a richer visual experience. Producers of the game worked to maintain the same element that drew so many fans to the Far Cry franchise by allowing players to explore and allowing the game's AI to adapt to the gameplay style.
"Your battle, your fight, your way," is how producer Dan Hay describes it.
The game starts with players taking control of tourist Jason Brody, who is left stranded on a island. He faces pirates, odd ball characters, and other dangers lurking in the lush tropical environment. Exploration is mixed with gun shooting action but players will be called to level up the protagonist and experience the story through the engaging 360 degrees approach.
Far Cry 3 is expected to hit stores in September 4th, 2012 and will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Check out the gorgeous visuals in these screenshots. Click "START" to begin.
