The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom is developer WayForward's third game starring Jake the Dog and Finn the Human. This time around, Finn and Jake are sent to rescue the three princesses of the Nameless Kingdom and decide which of them should end up on the throne.
Throughout the game, Finn will need to battle enemies and solve puzzles through three temples in his quest to find the princesses. Of course, Jake will be by his side to help him out with the epic endeavor, using his unique brand of shapeshifting to the duo's advantage. They'll also have the option to take a breather and help out their friends through various side quests. The game promises a blend of new characters to meet and, of course, an entire cast of fan favorites to welcome players back to the Land of Ooo.
Smash Bros. Leak Reveals Two New Characters
The game is taking a cue from old-school games and is presented in a retro 16-bit style, reminiscent of the classic action/adventure games of yore. If the new screens are anything to go by, it looks like the game is shooting to capture the same over-the-top, almost absurd style that has made the cartoon so popular. It also looks like the game is utilizing Adventure Time's huge roster of secondary characters to make sure everyone's favorite Candy Kingdom denizen gets at least a little screen time.
Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom is set to release for 3DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in November.
