Meta Knight Unveiled As Playable Character In Upcoming Super Smash Bros
Several new characters and other details were revealed at E3 as expected, and we got to see the game in action in a live tournament. Even after these major announcements, though, series director Masahiro Sakurai continues to give us comparatively smaller details through the official site in the form of a daily picture update.
The 3DS version of the game has been getting more attention in these updates as its release date draws near, and today's post is no different. It focuses on the handheld edition's Classic mode, which Sakurai described as follows.

"In Classic mode, you challenge multiple stages en route to a climactic final battle. The more gold you put onto the Fiend's Scale, the harder the battles will be. In return, your rewards will get better and more abundant. The best way to earn gold fast is to win Classic battles on higher intensity."
It certainly sounds interesting--the above image is our only preview of the mode so far. Keep checking back for more Super Smash Bros. news each day, where we'll hopefully see new character reveals or a Wii U release date.
