Leave it to tech companies in Los Angeles to come up with this pairing: alcohol delivery via models donning only underwear.
Starbucks Mobile App to Allow Pick-Up Orders
Saucy is an alcohol-delivery app based in the City of Angels, and they've paired up with MeUndies, an L.A. underwear peddler. The two start-ups have put their brain trust together to bring you the "Sleepover Pack," which includes booze and clean intimates.
Each Sleepover Pack includes your choice of liquor and mixers alongside an array of socks, t-shirts and underwear. The packs also include necessaries for the hangover following your sleepover, like sunglasses and a vitamin from Drinkwel ("the multivitamin for people who drink").
Yo! App Valued at $6 - $10 Million
Saucy claims that anyone who places an order for a Sleepover Pack will get it on their doorstep within 20 minutes (by my calculations, if ordered at the same time as pizza or Chinese, you could get a good buzz going by the time food arrives).
The company is actually deploying a team of underwear models to deliver packs to blessed customers on Friday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Regular delivery hours are from noon (although I'm not sure I would want an app knowing I'm ordering booze that early...) to just before 2 a.m.
Each Sleepover Pack costs between $40 and $100, depending on how many people are at your party. Use the code "MeUndies" on the Saucy app Friday for $5 off your party, and a chance to see a delivery guy in his underwear.
Delivery of the packs will begin Friday and last only a week, so plan your sleepover now.
