A new behind-the-scenes trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor features voice actors Troy Baker and Alastair Duncan talking about their work, as well as some footage of them wearing the ever-funny mocap suits.

In this Lord of the Rings spinoff Baker and Duncan star as Talion and Celebrimbor, respectively. You control Talion, a ranger on a quest for vengeance, who has been saved by his spirit companion Celebrimbor. The elf Celebrimbor is none other than the one who once forged Sauron's rings of power, and thus is directly responsible for much of the events of Lord of the Rings.
Now if these actors name's aren't familiar to you, their body of work certainly is. Troy Baker played Joel in The Last of Us, Booker Dewitt in Bioshock Infinite, The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, and many, many more roles. Alastair Duncan has supplied voices for everything from Mass Effect 3 to Uncharted 3, as well as playing Alfred in The Batman animated series.

Now the story for Shadow of Mordor will be canon, official Tolkien lore, so getting two of the best actors for the lead roles was key, and they supplied performances and helped mesh their characters into the context of the game
"There were challenges with developing the characters individually and also how those two would work in concert with each other," said Baker. "Because not only narratively but also systemically we had to establish that, and we never want to do anything from a narrative aspect that doesn't support gameplay, and in turn we want to make sure that the gameplay isn't in stark contrast to the story."
The gameplay itself seems to be doing just fine, with a tremendous amount of positive buzz coming from its recent showing at E3. I
