The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS details have been consistently coming from Nintendo ahead of the release of both versions, especially after an exciting E3. The game will be out on October 3 for 3DS and this holiday season on Wii U, though we'll likely have to wait for winter to approach for a specific release date.

Nintendo revealed multiple new playable characters during and after its E3 Digital Event, introducing four fighters that include three Super Smash Bros debutants. It looks like Mr. Game & Watch is returning alongside newcomers Pac-man, Lady Palutena from Kid Icarus, and the customizable Mii Fighters. Since then, we've been shown a variety of new details, ranging from stages to character costumes.
There was a wide variety of information this week from the daily updates, and since Nintendo does not post on the weekend, it's a good time to review what we were shown over the last few days.
The first post of the week was the reveal of a somewhat obscure character, the Prince of the Sablé, who will be making an appearance on 3DS. The next update switched things up, with the reveal of a new super weapon called Daybreak, a cannon that needs to be assembled in three parts like the Dragoon.
The following post was the reveal of two more Pokemon who could appear from Pokeballs--the legendaries Xerneas and Victini. The week's variety continued with the unveiling of the 3DS Trophy Gallery and Trophy Shop.
The final update was an image showing off the 3DS start-up screen, clearly made in the style of the original Game Boy. More details will continue to be revealed next week, so keep checking back for Super Smash Bros information.
