When CD Projekt RED demoed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the public for the first time ever, a technical snafu happened and the voices didn't work. Thankfully voice actor Doug Cockle was on hand to save the day!

How did he do that? He just provided the voices himself. Geralt's famously gravel-voiced actor did a pretty decent job reading the lines, considering he was doing it live and on the fly. He also tries to do voices for a few other characters as well, much to the audience's amusement.
It all turned out ok but it's a shame this happened to CD Project RED. This demo is the same they showed behind closed doors at E3 and it was incredibly well done, showcasing a good half hour of the game. It showed a few missions you could embark on, as well as how the hunts work.
