The Destiny beta recently came to a close, giving those who participated or watched a good idea of what to expect from Bungie's game. But the level cap was set at just eight, locking off most of the higher level abilities and gear to players until the full release.
Neverwinter MMO Coming To Xbox One
To give us a look at the advanced gear beyond that cap, Destiny designer Sage Merrill produced a video with IGN showing off a level 29 Titan. There is some really powerful weaponry and armor on display in the video (below), which will taunt fans of the game until they can hunt it down for themselves in September.
The level cap is 20, but growing into a subclass can put your combined level beyond that--which explains the level 29 seen and discussed in the video. Merrill gives you a look at the stacked inventory, flipping through weapons and armor with absurdly high attack and defense compared to what was available in the beta. Some higher level, inaccessible items were occasionally awarded in the beta that gave you a glimpse of similar stats, but nothing that powerful across the board.
More Than 4 Million Players Participated In The Destiny Beta
He also walks you through the character's skill tree, which is entirely filled out. The abilities compliment one another and provide interesting combinations as you unlock the higher levels, which Merrill shows off in some gameplay, too. The character classes will seemingly become even more diverse at advanced stages, compared to just the main differences in Super type at lower levels. Watch the video to see the powerful Titan in action, and to be disappointed you can't get your hands on that gear just yet.
